C.H.I.P.S. (Citrus Hearing Impaired Program Services) is a non-profit agency for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, serving the Central Florida area.   We offer a variety of services including interpreting services.

C.H.I.P.S. opened its doors in July of 1988. Since then, hearing loss is more common than ever before. About 16% of American adults have an impaired ability to hear speech, and more than 30% of Americans over age 20 have lost some high-frequency hearing. With the increasing use of music devices, more teenagers are losing some of their hearing.
The slightest hearing loss can cause problems in school.  Are you at risk for hearing loss?

In July of 2009, we moved our Crystal River office into the train cars, now a permanent home for C.H.I.P.S.
